Our Training
Our therapists are trained in a variety of massage techniques/modalities. Each therapist has specialized advanced training in massage therapy that puts them in the top of their class. All of our massage therapists are licensed with the State of Texas in Massage Therapy. Some of our massage therapists also have the NCBTMB National Certification in Massage Therapy. Additional training for some also include Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Sports Massage and more.
Your 1st Consultation
During your initial consultation, you will be asked about your health. Please remember all previous injuries and complications. Explain to the therapist what you want avoided and concentrated on. Also, please let us know if you need any additional support during the massage, including help in standing up, lying down, or any environmental changes, like a warmer room, a warmer or cooler massage table, or additional draping.
Relaxation vs Pain Relief
The most important element to offering massage therapy is the balance between relaxation and pain relief. The more relaxing the massage is, the less pain relief the client will experience, since most pain relief techniques are focused and intentional - not relaxed. Conversely the more pain relief, the less relaxing. We ask every client where they would like to fall in the spectrum of massages between those two categories. This makes every massage completely unique.
Please Speak Up
During a massage, the most dangerous and upsetting mistake is thinking that the therapist is right in the amount of pressure or movements that they make. The therapist must be guided by your instruction to ensure you the best massage. They are definitely trained to provide a great massage, but due to wide ranging tastes in pressure, it is critical that you speak up throughout the massage, instructing the therapist until you get the pressure you prefer.
Pricing
Our massages are priced the same no matter what type of massage you get. Regular Massage is $99 / hour. And VIP Massage is $70 / hour. We feel that massage should be billed by the hour, not by the service. You can get any type of massage that we can currently perform. Just ask during your visit.
Online Booking
You can book online by clicking the Schedule an Appointment tab. Follow the instructions, and we will see you on the table.
