Stretching is an effective tool for providing flexibility, pain relief and relieving knots in the muscular tissue. Your session can include light or deep stretching. In deep stretching, the muscles are first warmed up with regular massage. From there, the massage therapist will perform the stretch on you, allowing you to relax completely as you are supported and stretched.
If a stretch is ever too deep or not deep enough, tell your therapist so they can adjust the stretch to your liking.
